BAND PERFORMANCE AGREEMENT
Venues & Private Events
1. Performance Details
The Band agrees to provide a live music performance on the agreed event date at the venue specified in the booking confirmation.
- The standard performance duration
is 2 hours.
- Breaks will be scheduled in consultation with the venue and client, taking into account food service or other event requirements where applicable.
2. Setup & Venue Requirements
The Band requires access to the venue approximately 1–2 hours before the performance to allow sufficient time for setup and soundcheck.
The Client and/or Venue agrees to provide:
- A suitable performance area.
- Safe access for loading and unloading equipment.
- A reliable and adequate power supply.
- A safe working environment.
- Suitable parking arrangements where reasonably possible.
3. Additional Performers & Guest Participation
No additional performers, musicians, guests, or audience members may perform with or use the Band's equipment during the performance unless agreed in advance by the Band, the Client, and the Venue.
4. Equipment & Sound
The Band will provide all standard performance equipment, including:
- Professional PA system
- Musical instruments
- Stage lighting (where applicable)
Any venue sound restrictions, volume limits, curfews, or technical requirements must be communicated to the Band prior to the event.
5. Liability
The Band shall not be held responsible for any loss, damage, injury, or incident caused by guests, venue staff, or third parties.
The Client accepts responsibility for any loss of or damage to the Band's equipment caused by guests, venue staff, or other persons attending the event.
6. Force Majeure
Neither party shall be liable for any failure to perform its obligations under this Agreement where such failure is due to circumstances beyond their reasonable control, including (but not limited to):
- Extreme weather
- Government restrictions
- Serious illness
- Accidents or emergencies
- Any other unavoidable event
7. Overtime
The agreed performance duration is 2 hours.
Any additional performance time is not included in the agreed fee and must be arranged directly with the Band. Additional charges may apply.
8. Fees & Payment
A non-refundable booking deposit is required to secure the performance date.
The remaining balance is payable on the day of the event, in cash unless otherwise agreed in writing before the event.
9. Cancellation Policy
9.1 Cancellation by the Client
The booking deposit is non-refundable if the Client cancels the booking.
- If cancellation occurs within 120 days of the event, a cancellation charge of up to 50% of the agreed performance fee may apply, depending on the circumstances.
- If cancellation occurs within 60 days of the event, the full agreed performance fee may be payable.
Each cancellation will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
9.2 Cancellation by the Band
If the Band is unable to perform due to unforeseen circumstances, the booking deposit will be refunded in full.
The Band will also make every reasonable effort to assist the Client in sourcing a suitable replacement act where possible.
To date, the Band has never cancelled a confirmed booking.
